The August 4, 2026 State Primary Election is a Statewide Election that includes all voters in all three precincts in Leighton Township. Absent Voter Counting Board Early Tabulation (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
will be conducted at the Leighton Township Hall: 4451 12th St., Suite A
3 Election Inspectors per day.

State Law allows the early tabulation of absentee ballots beginning 8 days before Election Day.
Some days may be canceled or end early because all ballots received have been tabulated. Check this site for updates.
Leighton Township has 3 Precincts. Voting for all Leighton Township Precincts occurs at the Town Hall/Library located at 4451 12th St., Wayland, MI 49348
Precinct #1 includes voters within the Wayland School District.
Precinct #2 is comprised of voters in the Caledonia & Thornapple-Kellogg School Districts
Precinct #3 includes voters within the Wayland School District.
